Cuts for Bradenton, Palmetto, Parrish, Sarasota & Ruskin
Trim Time pulls walk-in clients from across Manatee County and a chunk of southern Hillsborough. Five towns, five drive times, one chair at 3420 US-301. This is the routing sheet — straight roads, ZIP codes, the landmark you'll see before you see the red sign.
The shop sits in Ellenton, ZIP 34222, on US-301 between Gates of Heaven Rd and the Manatee River bridge. From that single point, the practical service area spreads out roughly 25 minutes in every direction. Below are the five towns most regulars drive in from, with the route, the drive time, and the ZIP that matters.
Bradenton (ZIP 34208) — 10 minutes south
The closest population center. Drive north on US-301 through Bradenton, cross the Manatee River bridge (about 3 miles south of the shop), and Trim Time is on the right shortly after Gates of Heaven Rd. Total drive time is about 10 minutes off-peak and 15 to 18 minutes during the morning commute.
Bradenton residents make up the largest single group of walk-ins on a typical Saturday. If you're coming up from south Bradenton, the alternative is taking 9th Street East north and merging onto US-301 at the river — same total time, slightly less stop-light traffic.
Palmetto (ZIP 34221) — 5 minutes north
Palmetto is essentially next door to Ellenton. Driving south on US-301 from downtown Palmetto puts you at the shop in 5 minutes flat, sometimes less. No major bridges, no highway merge, no toll. You'll see the Ellenton Premium Outlets sign on the right just before you reach the shop.
Palmetto walk-ins lean toward the morning shifts — guys heading to the shop on the way to work or right after dropping kids at school. Tuesday and Wednesday before 9 AM are the easiest windows.
Parrish — 12 minutes east
Parrish sits east of Ellenton off Moccasin Wallow Rd. The easiest run is west on Moccasin Wallow back to US-301, then south a couple of minutes to the shop. Total time is about 12 minutes. Newer subdivision growth around Parrish pushed walk-in volume from that direction up over the last year. The 8 AM Wednesday slot is reliably empty for Parrish drivers.
Sarasota — 25 minutes south
Sarasota is the longest typical drive. Two ways: I-75 north to exit 224 (University Pkwy), then a short eastbound jog to US-301; or US-41 north through Bradenton then US-301 over the Manatee River. I-75 is faster (about 25 minutes); US-41 is slower (35 minutes) but more scenic.
Sarasota walk-ins typically push the visit to a weekend morning. Coming up Saturday before 9 AM dodges the post-9 Bradenton rush on US-301 and gets you in front of the Saturday bench.
Ruskin — 25 minutes north
Ruskin sits north up I-75 in Hillsborough County. Take I-75 south to exit 224 or 220, then merge onto US-301 south. About 25 minutes in normal traffic. The Skyway Bridge stays well east of this route, so weather closures on the bridge don't affect the drive.
A handful of Ruskin regulars drive down once every 3 weeks for the haircut + beard combo because the price point ($35, everything in) compares well to closer Hillsborough shops.
The chair sits in the same spot whether you drove 5 minutes or 45. Same price, same time slot, same walk-in policy. — Trim Time, Manatee County

Landmarks you'll see before the door
Heading north on US-301 from Bradenton: the Manatee River bridge is the main marker — once you cross it, you have about 3 miles to the shop. The Ellenton Premium Outlets sign is the second marker. The red sign with the white pole-stripe at 3420 is the destination.
Heading south from Palmetto, Parrish, or Ruskin: Gates of Heaven Rd is the cue. The shop is just south of that intersection on the right. Parking is in the front lot and along the side.
